Alex is obsessed with snails, but can women ever replace them in his affections? Stars Gerard Foster. From July 2001.
Alex moves into the shed at the bottom of the garden and takes his 200 snails with him.
He starts to live like a snail and lets them crawl all over him.
When a French girl arrives on the scene, Alex falls for her and tries to prove he's normal by eating his pets.
