Clive Anderson hosts a brain-training quiz show in which contestants battle to prove themselves in a sequence of brain games that test their memory, language, visual, numerical and spatial skills.

Competition is tough in the Brainbox arena, and there can be only one champion. If a contestant loses a brain game, they drop out of the contest, but with each win, they move closer to the Brainbox jackpot of 10,000 pounds - and a chance to play the bonus game.
