Alistair is on tenterhooks waiting for Mrs Muttley's talent contest to arrive. If his piano-playing carries off the music prize, he might win a date with the lovely Pamela Whitby. Unable to accept that their little brother is better than them at music, Mel and Will invent a new sound, Thrash Punk Noise. They tell Alistair that Pamela won't like him if he plays the piano, because piano-playing is for girls. Alistair is devastated.
