In its 150th year, Cologne's Gurzenich Orchestra makes its Proms debut under Markus Stenz in a recreation of the 1904 concert in which it introduced Mahler's 5th Symphony to the world. Schubert's songs from that programme are heard in new orchestrations, conducted by Markus Stenz.
