The Baltic way out of the financial crisis has been austerity - and Latvia led the way. When banking collapse wiped out a quarter of the economy and unemployment hit 20 per cent, it took drastic action. Critics say the correction was harsher than necessary because Latvia pegged its currency to the euro. Shaun Ley speaks to Valdis Dombrovskis, Latvia's Prime Minister.
