You can鈥檛 be too precious about your material and your 鈥榲oice鈥 when you鈥檙e writing for a series with 3 other writers 鈥 when you boil it down, you鈥檙e there to serve the story, to put the right words into the characters mouths and work up a damn good plot with emotional depth.
To be able to do this on deadline and to everyone鈥檚 satisfaction (including your own) is job, most thoroughly, done 鈥 and what a buzz to be there for the recording, to sit there quietly during the first readthrough and hear the actors become the characters and speak the words you鈥檝e written. Oh and turn to you at the end and say 鈥榯his is brilliant鈥.聽聽That was ok鈥
