Susan pulls no punches, and Rob puts himself forward.
Susan has organised a strongly worded letter to send to the Council planning department, as well as an email to the Echo. The letter鈥檚 signed by the whole shop committee, against Hazel Woolley鈥檚 planned change of use for the village shop. As they wait for a decision on whether the shop can be deemed a community asset (8 weeks), Susan hasn鈥檛 held back in telling the Echo what she thinks of Hazel 鈥 and she feels her sentiments could apply to Bridge Farm as well. Susan notes that Mike鈥檚 pretty upset with what鈥檚 happening 鈥 to the shop and also the Village Hall.
Shula walks around the Lower Loxley grounds with Elizabeth following the get-out of the Magic Opera company. Elizabeth looks forward to Lynda鈥檚 review in the Echo. It certainly got Oliver and Caroline in the mood for Tuscany 鈥 they just need to appoint a Health Club manager. Meanwhile, Bert looks forward to the Flower and Produce Show.
Tom notices a bruise on Helen鈥檚 wrist 鈥 it鈥檚 nothing, she says 鈥 she took a tumble whilst playing with Henry. Rob subtly gets his own way over the interior design for the Bridge Farm shop, going with a more contemporary look. Rob tells Helen he鈥檚 happy to be the project manager.
