Verity Sharp continues a week of performances by the 麻豆社 Symphony Orchestra. Today's programme includes highlights of a concert the orchestra gave last month at the Barbican, featuring music by Stravinsky, and the Violin Concerto by Ryan Wigglesworth, conducted by the composer. Plus Ravel inspired by Couperin, and Shostakovich's 5th Symphony performed on tour in Zaragoza, Spain.
