Part 1 鈥 Death Friday
听
Hounded, helpless, horror uphill,
Mocking jeers crescendo,
Death鈥檚 stench, dark in despairing dread,
Oppressing fear鈥檚 echo.
听
Piercing soulful eyes fixated,
Excruciating pain,
Hope hanging, subsiding, drowning,
Dignity dies, my shame.

Part 2 鈥 Life Sunday听听
听
Night鈥檚 black breaking: light鈥檚 dawn dancing,
Hurry quickening feet,听 听
Heady spices; heavy grieving,
Overwhelmed - crumpled heap.
听
Erupting anguish obscuring
Gard鈥檔er鈥檚 playful delight,
Agony鈥檚 deep yearning, aching,
Recognition ignites!
听
Exploding joyful elation,
Spirit鈥檚 music exclaims,
Touching, soaring - soul suspended,
Jesus beckons my name!
