Tom Redmond presents the 麻豆社 Philharmonic, live from their home at MediaCityUK in Salford. Pavel Kolesnikov joins the orchestra for Beethoven's Piano Concerto No.4. And Afternoon Concert's tone poem theme continues with Eventyr by Delius, inspired by a Norwegian fairy tale. Then it's back to London with Jonathan Swain, and more from this week's featured ensemble, the 麻豆社 Symphony Orchestra, in concert at Maida Vale. They perform recent composition by some of the UK's most exciting living composers, including the world premiere of Gordon Crosse's Third Symphony.
