Day 2 Part 1: Featuring Hockey and Swimming
Adam Peaty competes in the men's 100m breaststroke, England's men's hockey team meet Malaysia, plus the cycling women's sprint and the women's individual pursuit qualifying.
Swimmer Adam Peaty takes to the water as day two of the 2018 Commonwealth Games from Australia's Gold Coast gets under way.
Peaty will be competing in his favourite event, the men's 100m breaststroke, in which he famously won Team GB's first gold medal at the Rio Olympics two years ago, which was a first for a male British swimmer for 28 years, and the 23-year-old world champion from Uttoxeter will be expecting to retain his Commonwealth title.
Meanwhile, England's men's hockey team begin their campaign against Malaysia, and there's also action taking place at the cycling velodrome with qualifying in the women's sprint and the women's individual pursuit.
