Two of the biggest stars of the women鈥檚 game made shock early exits at this stage last year. Tournament favourite Petra Kvitova 鈥� a two-time Wimbledon champion 鈥� was upset by unfancied Aliaksandra Sasnovich, while 2004 winner Maria Sharapova bowed out to qualifier Vitalia Diatchenko.
