Is putting anti-knife crime messages on chicken shop boxes offensive or a good idea? Qasa is asking this after the government launched a new campaign to warn of the dangers of carrying a knife by sending more than 321,000 boxes with the messages to take-aways in England and Wales. However, some people have said the plan is 鈥渃rude鈥 and 鈥渙ffensive鈥. Then we鈥檒l hear from Ranjt Kaur, the author of The Dancing Maharani, and Ameena Malak, who co-launched Project Dastaan, to talk about whether there is a need for schoolkids to learn about the 1947 partition of India. Plus, Qasa will be joined by a panel of ladies for our feature 鈥楲adies First鈥, where they鈥檒l discuss news stories that affect the everyday lives of British Asian women.
