Jim finds himself a new focus and Phoebe issues an ultimatum.

Lilian鈥檚 finding the amount of work involved in being Chief Operating Officer for Peggy鈥檚 Trust tiresome, but she admits it鈥檒l be fascinating to see the presentations.
Testing Jim, Lilian鈥檚 impressed with his classical knowledge, but notes his popular culture falls short. She points out that to be a Brainbox he鈥檒l need a broader range. She鈥檒l have to get him match fit. Having watched a little reality TV Jim declares it an abomination. However losing is not an option, so he sees he鈥檒l need to continue with it. And if he鈥檚 to get some serious research in, he鈥檒l need an incentive. How about free coffee at the Bull for a month, Jim suggests. You鈥檙e on, agrees Lilian.
Clarrie cooks a meal for Will, and tries to reassure him about Poppy鈥檚 health. Perhaps Bev could see her again soon? Will鈥檚 adamant Poppy鈥檚 not going anywhere, and he won鈥檛 return to work, until she鈥檚 properly better. Clarrie鈥檚 bemused by Emma鈥檚 behaviour. Will points out she鈥檚 just hurting.
Phoebe鈥檚 trying to run through her bid presentation but is getting barracked by Pip and Rex. She鈥檚 frustrated that Pip鈥檚 splitting her time with Brookfield. Phoebe needs her commitment. When she discovers Pip hasn鈥檛 told her parents she鈥檚 involved in Rewilding Ambridge, she鈥檚 furious. If Pip doesn鈥檛 tell them before Friday, she will.
