Radio 3 New Generation Artists at the Festival

The Amatis Piano Trio, Eivind Ringstad and Aleksey Semenenko join forces for Franck and Dvorak, live from the Queen's Hall series in Edinburgh.

One of the leading chamber ensembles in Europe and formerly 麻豆社 Radio 3 New Generation Artists, the Amatis Trio join forces in a special collaboration with two new talents on this prestigious scheme: Ukrainian violinist Aleksey Semenenko and the viola player Eivind Ringstad from Norway. Franck鈥檚 piano quintet is a work of passionate intensity and drama while Dvorak鈥檚 sunny and melodic style marries Czech folk tunes with a hint of his 鈥楢merican鈥 themes to come. Presented by Kate Molleson.
