Arranging four pieces by Mozart in his Suite No. 4, Tchaikovsky pays homage to the composer he regarded as a 鈥榙ivinity鈥�.
Tchaikovsky himself was the inspiration for Stravinsky鈥檚 ballet The Fairy鈥檚 Kiss, shot through with Tchaikovsky鈥檚 melodies.
Conductor Ryan Wigglesworth also features as both pianist 鈥� alongside Marc-Andr茅 Hamelin in Mozart鈥檚 Concerto for two pianos 鈥� and composer, with the world premiere of his own Piano Concerto.
