Live from MediaCityUK in Salford the 麻豆社 Philharmonic perform Beethoven's 3rd Piano Concerto. The soloist is the young German pianist Elisabeth Brauss who is currently a member of Radio 3's New Generation Artists Scheme as has been praised for 鈥渢he maturity and sophistication of her thoughtful interpretations鈥� The concert concludes with Malcolm Arnold's riotous Commonwealth Christmas Overture which was commissioned by the 麻豆社 in 1957 to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the sovereign's Christmas broadcasts.
