Jo is joined in studio by the Grammy Award winning jazz sensation Gregory Porter, on the day he releases his first single 鈥楻evival鈥 from his upcoming album 鈥楢ll Rise鈥.

鈥楻evival鈥 sets the tone of his forthcoming record, which marks a return to his beloved original songwriting 鈥 heart-on-sleeve lyrics imbued with everyday philosophy and real-life detail, set to a stirring mix of jazz, soul, blues, and gospel.

"Yes, you could say that I went big," says Gregory about the track, which features a handpicked horn section and 10-member choir. He explains, 鈥淔or me, it鈥檚 the message of walking into this life and having some fear and self-doubt, and the point where you grab onto something that you know is real, the silent and real things, the truth鈥 Once you can wrap onto the truth then this fearlessness comes.鈥

His sixth studio album 鈥楢ll Rise鈥 is out on 17th April.

And whether you鈥檙e picking up or dropping off, Jo provides the soundtrack for the Taxi Service.
