Jo chats to actor Daniel Mays, star of Sky鈥檚 comedy Code 404, which sees one of the Met's top-crime fighting duo killed in action and brought back as an AI prototype.

DI John Major (Daniel Mays) had it all: wife Kelly (Anna Maxwell Martin), best friend and police partner Carver (Stephen Graham), a glittering career in the police force鈥� when his cover was blown and he met an untimely death. One year later, he鈥檚 back - part A.I. and better than ever鈥� or so he鈥檇 like to believe. Full of glitches, he鈥檚 got to track down the person who shot him, prove himself as a cop so as not to get shut down, and save his marriage and his friendship, all with his partner Carver to boot.

Daniel has also recently starred in Netflix鈥檚 White Lines and ITV鈥檚 Des, focusing on the capture of serial killer Dennis Nilsen. His film credits include Vera Drake, Atonement, Made in Dagenham, Rogue One: A Star Wars story, Fisherman鈥檚 Friends and 1917.
