Simon Armitage
Poet laureate Simon Armitage takes a walk along Yorkshire鈥檚 enchanting and historic frontier with the North Sea.
A coastal walk is the setting for poet laureate Simon Armitage's ramble along Yorkshire鈥檚 enchanting and historic frontier with the North Sea.
Starting in Ravenscar, Simon takes the old Cinder Track - a disused railway line. Carrying a 360-degree camera, he passes former quarries and brickworks before taking a beach walk from Boggle Hole to the picture-perfect Robin Hood鈥檚 Bay.
Simon witnesses at first hand the impact of coastal erosion and meets farmers and locals living and working by the sea. He ends his journey with a seaside pint of local ale.
