Rev'd Dr Jennie Hurd
A service led by the Rev'd Dr Jennie Hurd, Chair of the Cymru Synod of the Methodist Church.
The evening edition of the programme includes My Favourite Hymn.
鈥楾he Call of the Kingdom鈥
The cycle of readings for many churches at the moment focuses on the beginning of Jesus鈥檚 ministry, including the call he made to fishermen at the Sea of Galilee to become his disciples. 鈥楩ollow me and I will make you fish for people,鈥 Jesus said. In this service led by the Revd Dr Jennie Hurd, Chair of the Cymru Synod of the Methodist Church, considers how one can respond to God鈥檚 call in the midst of a pandemic. Hymns include 鈥楾he Kingdom of God is justice and joy鈥, 鈥極 God you search me and you know me鈥 and 鈥楯esus calls us o鈥檈r the tumult鈥.
Our evening transmission is preceded by 鈥楳y favourite hymn鈥.
