Bishop Gregory Cameron
A service to celebrate Pentecost led by the Rt Rev'd Gregory Cameron, Bishop of St Asaph, who explores how the Holy Spirit can transform peoples鈥 lives.
A service to celebrate Pentecost which comes fifty days after Easter, led by the Rt Rev'd Gregory Cameron, Bishop of St Asaph. He explores how God鈥檚 Holy Spirit can transform peoples鈥 lives in extraordinary and unexpected ways. During the service we hear biblical readings of how lives were turned upside down by God鈥檚 spirit.
However, Bishop Gregory says 鈥榳e don鈥檛 only have to look to the past for the action of the Holy Spirit; Christians still experience the Spirit鈥檚 ministry in their own lives鈥. For the service, he鈥檚 joined by Andy and Rachel Kitchen, who tell how they sought the guidance of the Spirit in making the decision to move their family and centre their lives on setting up a new church community in Hope St in Wrexham.
Hymns include 鈥楪racious Spirit, Holy Ghost鈥, 鈥楥ome down O love divine鈥, 鈥楤reathe on me, breath of God鈥 and the ancient plainchant hymn 鈥榁eni Creator Spiritus鈥 (Come Holy Ghost our souls inspire).
The evening edition of the programme includes My Favourite Hymn.
