Adam struggles with the consequences of his actions and Lynda does some digging.

Joy arrives early for her interview with Lynda, and flatters Lynda鈥檚 garden while trying to tempt her with the butterfly buns she鈥檚 brought. As Lynda lists the qualities required to be an effective committee member, Joy gently steers the conversation round to her own agenda. Before she knows it Lynda鈥檚 acknowledging Joy鈥檚 formidable fundraising experience. She agrees she鈥檒l take a chance on Joy 鈥 she can join the committee as a quiet observer for now. Joy can鈥檛 wait.
Lee鈥檚 after some clamps from distracted Adam 鈥 he鈥檚 attempting to dampen the sound of his practising on the drumkit. As he chats Adam can鈥檛 keep a lid on his irritation and explodes, then immediately apologises. He recounts the argument he鈥檚 had with Brian over the missing farm money, which Brian鈥檚 virtually accused him of stealing. He explains he鈥檇 only borrowed it to pay for the electrical work at the cottage. He admits he鈥檇 let a request for an advance on partnership drawings slide, but he鈥檚 unhappy at Brian鈥檚 attitude. He never blows up at the other siblings like he does at Adam. Adam begs Lee not to tell anyone, particularly Ian, whose been anxious about money and thinks it鈥檚 sorted. Adam鈥榮 going to let Brian stew for now, but Lee reckons letting things fester will make them worse. If he was Adam, he鈥檇 put the money back as soon as possible, and apologise to Brian. If he makes things right between them, they might both be able to move on.
