Adam Peaty competes in the men鈥檚 100m breaststroke, aiming to become the first British swimmer to retain an Olympic title.

Adam Peaty will be expecting to claim gold in the men鈥檚 100m breaststroke, and Britain will also have high hopes of a third consecutive gold in the men鈥檚 triathlon.

Peaty has been in dominant form since winning in Rio, and the world champion and world record-holder is aiming to become the first British swimmer to retain an Olympic title. Shortly after the men鈥檚 breaststroke final, American superstar Katie Ledecky will be looking for the first of a possible five golds at these games in the women鈥檚 400m freestyle.

Alistair Brownlee has won the last two men鈥檚 triathlon titles but didn鈥檛 qualify for Tokyo. Can brother and two-time Olympic medallist Jonny finally claim gold at his third games, or could rising star Alex Yee be the man on the top of the podium?
