Elizabeth comes bearing gifts and Adam attempts to settle in.

While they weigh Anguses, Adam tells Tony that Jennifer鈥檚 announced she鈥檚 taking Brian to London for his birthday. Adam shares some herbal leys knowledge with Tony before quickly getting out the way when Tom arrives with some management decisions to make.
Tom briefs Tony that an architect is taking a look at the orchard today but he can鈥檛 be sure if Natasha has informed Fallon yet. Tom also tells his dad he wants to invest in new machinery for their potato crop. He鈥檚 surprised when Tony readily agrees. But Tony adds that Tom should ask Adam for his recommendations.
Clarrie鈥檚 worrying about all that has to be done before Sunday, now their vow renewal celebration has become such a big event, while Eddie鈥 nonchalant about it all working out. Elizabeth calls round and offers a brooch for Clarrie to wear at the vow renewal. Clarrie feels uncomfortable as Eddie and Elizabeth press her to accept it. Elizabeth is keen to pass it on, admitting she is a hoarder and it will do her good; by giving the Grundys the brooch it might help her move on a little.
