This evening, after a swooning sigh, Felix Mendelssohn and Alberic Magnard appear in symphonic guise, that master of tricks and wheezes Till Eulenspiegel travels by an ash grove courtesy of Richard Strauss and Benjamin Britten, and we trip lightly with Leo Delibes鈥� Sylvia before crocodiles, ostriches and hippos dance away the hours with Amicare Ponchielli.
