This week, Afternoon Concert features French orchestras. Today, Mikko Franck conducts the Radio France Philharmonic in Johann Strauss I, Johann Strauss II and Richard Strauss.

This week Afternoon Concert features performance by French orchestras - to round off the week it's the Radio France Philharmonic in a waltz-tastic concert of Johann Strauss I, Johann Strauss II and Richard Strauss. Plus music by Debussy from the 麻豆社 Philharmonic, Alexandre Tharaud plays Schubert, and a version of Gershwin's American in Paris for trumpet and piano, featuring Simon Hofele.
