It鈥檚 a big day for Pip, while Tracy proves a tough nut to crack.
Pip and Toby watch Rosie鈥檚 school Nativity performance. As long as she鈥檚 not upstaged by Madison the sheep, Pip will be happy. They spot Madison鈥檚 mum arriving late and Pip can鈥檛 hide her disapproval of this. However she introduces herself afterwards as Lottie, one of Pip鈥檚 old schoolfriends. The two swap costume stories and reminisce gleefully about their schooldays. Lottie wonders whether Rosie would like to play with Maddie in the holidays. Pip鈥檚 cautious after the spat over the Nativity roles, but Lottie assures her everyone鈥檚 moved on. Later Toby laughs at Pip鈥檚 U-turn over Maddie and her mum 鈥 maybe being a little less judgy might be a way forward!
Eddie and George are out selling the logs that Emma and Ed have misappropriated. George reckons he鈥檚 giving up Fallon鈥檚 choir to help his granddad with shifting them. He practices his sales technique on Eddie, who isn鈥檛 impressed, and shares his own wisdom on the subject. He reckons George needs to try out on someone who鈥檚 easy to sell to. They land on Tracy, but she proves a tricky customer, having called Emma to secure her first batch of logs free of charge as they鈥檙e so wet. George growls that his mum鈥檚 a soft touch. Eddie points out she鈥檚 not the only one: George didn鈥檛 get his money up front, which is a big mistake especially when it鈥檚 family. Disgruntled George apologises reluctantly for his blunder.
