Justin is feeling patriotic, and Jim is getting ready to settle in.
Harrison reminds Justin about tonight鈥檚 meeting. Justin hasn鈥檛 forgotten; he鈥檚 looking forward to it. At the meeting he joins in enthusiastically. This is the sort of thing that brings not just villages but whole nations together. Paul gives Justin a Union flag to wave, and declares himself a superfan. After some more misunderstandings, Justin realises he鈥檚 at a Eurovision meeting, not a Coronation event meeting. He reluctantly accepts he has to go along with it.
Harrison has a friendly word of advice for David about his response to Jim鈥檚 demonstration. It鈥檚 always best not to inflame these situations. David acknowledges this. Harrison in turn lets Jim know he鈥檚 spoken to David just as Jim is leaving his house with a suitcase. David checks whether Ben鈥檚 got the room ready for tonight鈥檚 B&B guest. Ben hasn鈥檛, and hopes there鈥檚 enough time before they arrive. When he answers the door to the guest, he鈥檚 wrongfooted to see Jim there. Jim announces he鈥檚 anticipating a very pleasant stay. David wants him to leave but Jim insists he鈥檚 a paying guest. David threatens to call the police again 鈥 Jim鈥檚 given a false name on the booking. His mother鈥檚 maiden name, replies Jim, and he paid in his own name. David鈥檚 deflated. Ben suggests they let Jim stay 鈥 he鈥檒l have to check out in the morning anyway. David capitulates and Jim locks the bedroom door. Later they spot a huge banner hanging from Jim鈥檚 window. Again Ben recommends leaving Jim to it. David鈥檚 dubious; what if he won鈥檛 leave?
