Scottish pianist Christopher Guild introduces a selection of pieces from his brand new album 鈥楩olksongs with Grainger鈥� a celebration of pianist Ronald Stevenson鈥檚 music which pays homage to Percy Grainger. Plus we hear Martyn Bennett鈥檚 glorious piece 鈥楳ackay鈥檚 Memoirs鈥� composed for pipes, clarsach and orchestra, the 麻豆社 Scottish Symphony Orchestra perform Michael Tippett鈥檚 Symphony No.1 and selections from Bach鈥檚 Cello Suite No.1 played by classical superstar Yo-Yo Ma.
