This week, Vernon Kay is happy to welcome musician, singer songwriter and internet personality best known as the founder and lead singer of The Darkness - Justin Hawkins. He will be picking the songs that soundtracked his life in this week's Tracks Of My Years.

The band's 2003 debut album 鈥淧ermission To Land鈥� has sold over 1.5 million copies, and Justin - with his massive five octave vocal range - has an instantly recognisable voice on their hits, which include 鈥淚 Believe In A Thing Called Love鈥� and 鈥淐hristmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End)鈥�.

The band are now back with their eighth studio album, 鈥淒reams On Toast鈥�, which comes out at the end of the month, and they are also on tour, which culminates on the 29th March at The Ovo Arena, Wembley. But he begins his Tracks of My Years journey with the UK's biggest-selling singles artist of the 1980s: it鈥檚 Shakin鈥� Stevens and 鈥淭his Old House鈥�.
