Cool Earth

protects rainforests by giving cash to people who live there. It means communities don鈥檛 have to sell their forest to loggers when times are hard.聽99% of rainforest is intact where Cool Earth works. Imagine if we could do this everywhere.

Preserving vital ecosystems

Preserving vital ecosystems
Protecting carbon-rich rainforests is crucial in fighting climate change. But in rainforests around the world, deforestation poses a serious threat, endangering not only their survival but also the wildlife and communities that depend on them.

Meet Agnes, Papua New Guinea

Meet Agnes, Papua New Guinea
Donations help people like Agnes in Papua New Guinea, where loggers tried to buy her community鈥檚 forest. With Cool Earth鈥檚 support, Agnes鈥 community receives funding for healthcare, education and food, empowering them to reject offers from loggers.

Resilient Rainforest

Resilient Rainforest
In the areas we work, 99% of the rainforest is intact, despite loggers regularly offering to buy the trees. Because of your donations, people can say no to loggers because they already have everything they need. This keeps rainforests standing.
