The team tackle scammers posing as the UK鈥檚 National Crime Agency to scare their targets into giving them money.
The team face up against one of the cruellest and most terrifying scams they have ever seen 鈥� scammers posing as the National Crime Agency to frighten their targets into believing they will be arrested if they don鈥檛 prove their identity by buying gift cards. These scammers even spoof the numbers of genuine police stations and use props to make their targets believe they face arrest if they don鈥檛 comply.
As the hub team try to prevent one man losing out, the ground team track down the shop that the man has been sent to so he can purchase the cards. But will they find him in time?
