Cerys welcomes Piers Faccini and Ballak茅 Sissoko to perform live at the legendary 麻豆社 Maida Vale studios.
Born in London and raised in France, musician and writer Piers Faccini met Ballak茅 Sissoko in the early 2000s through the record label Leu Bleu. Ballak茅 is from Mali and plays the kora, a 21-stringed harp-like instrument from West Africa. The pair recorded their collaborative album Our Calling live to tape over the course of five days in Paris. They perform two tracks from their new album as well as a classic blues cover and discuss their blues influences with Cerys.
