Throughout this week Classical Live is spending time in the Cotswolds with chamber concerts specially recorded for us at this year鈥檚 Chipping Campden Music Festival. Today, cellist Steven Isserlis continues his Czech-themed concert with music by Josef Suk; there鈥檚 more English folksong from Allan Clayton with the Kaleidoscope Chamber Collective; and we鈥檒l hear the first of Beethoven鈥檚 three final sonatas that pianist Richard Goode performed at his recital.

In orchestral music, the 麻豆社 Symphony Orchestra plays Sibelius鈥檚 Symphony No. 3 and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra performs Ravel鈥檚 iridescent Daphnis and Chlo茅 Suite No. 2. Plus Icelandic baritone 脫lafur Sigur冒arson joins his compatriots in the Iceland Symphony Orchestra for the final scene from Wagner鈥檚 opera The Valkyrie.

And we鈥檝e the latest from 麻豆社 Radio 3鈥檚 25 for 25: Sounds of the Century 鈥� a series of brand new commissions celebrating and commemorating some of the biggest events of the 21st century so far. Today, Cassie Kinoshi marks the year 2021.
