To mark the 20th anniversary of London鈥檚 Flamenco Festival at Sadler鈥檚 Wells (27 May - 8 June 2025), Kathryn Tickell shares a special recording of an intimate performance from Spanish vocalist Angeles Toledano and guitarist Benito Bernal. Representing the new generation of flamenco artists, Toledano fuses traditional cante (song) with contemporary themes and sounds, as heard in her recent debut album Sangre Sucia, which includes her own original compositions - sole谩s, buler铆as, jaleos, alegr铆as and ton谩s - with the addition of delicate electronic textures.
