In this archive inspired series of Two Minute Masterpiece, filmmakers Niamh Kelly and Liam McDonnell reflect on female beauty standards and gender stereotypes in their folk horror film 脷lla Mhacha . Inspired by an archive clip 鈥楪irl of the Year鈥� in which competitors promote Armagh apples by handing them out to men in the grounds of Belfast City Hall. In this updated version a group of women again hand out apples to men but this time the power and the camera鈥檚 gaze is subverted with a surprising twist.
