Linton Stephens showcases the best performances by 麻豆社 orchestras, choirs, ensembles and other great performing groups from Europe and around the globe.

Throughout the week, we will feature highlights from the 麻豆社 Proms 2025. In today's programme, the 麻豆社 Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Anja Bihlmaier perform Straus' iconic 19th-century tone-poem, Death and Transfiguration. Plus there is another chance to hear Orchestre national de France and conductor Cristian M膬celaru perform Ravel's La valse and Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges' Violin Concerto in G major, Op. 8 with soloist, Randall Goosby.

Elsewhere, performances from the Regensburg Early Music Festival will be featured, thanks to our partnership with the European Broadcasting Union. Today, the Zefiro Ensemble play music by Reinhard Keiser and Francesco Geminiani. There is also a spotlight on Radio 3 New Generation Artists across the week with a performance of Liszt from Mariam Batsashvili.
