Inspired by the New York City Block Parties from back in the day.
Falle Nioke takes over the block party who has music including U-Roy, Salif Keita, Takana Zion, Oumou Sangeré, Mory Kanté, Sho Madjozi, Vitaa, Joe Goddard & Congo Natty. Falle is releasing his debut album called Love From The Sea on the 26th September via Eat Your Own Ear Records.
The album was made with the help of new and old collaborators, including Ghost Culture, Johan Hugo (known for his work with artists like Self Esteem and Baaba Maal), and Mercury Prize winner Mike Lindsay (Tunng / LUMP).
Guinea born, Margate-based singer and percussionist Falle Nioke has worked with Barry Can't Swim & Hot Chip's Joe Goddard.
