Bongo Joe records is a Geneva based label that pays homage to the legendary American street musician George 'Bongo Joe' Coleman. Despite a number of offers from established venues, Coleman chose to play on the streets for over 30 years. Through their store and label, Bongo Joe continues to pay tribute to this remarkable artist while also introducing European music lovers to 鈥榬are nuggets鈥�. Yalla Miku brings together musicians from North and East Africa and musicians that are part of the fabric of Geneva鈥檚 experimental scene. The band was founded by Cyril Yeterian (banjo, electric guitar, voice) and Cyril Bondi (drums and voice). Cyril Yeterian was a member of the band Mama Rosin.
Peter Guralnick is a American music critic, author, and screenwriter. He is known for his deeply researched works on the history of rock and roll. His new book 'The Colonel and the King: Tom Parker, Elvis Presley and the Partnership that Rocked the World' explores the close personal bond between Elvis and his manager 'the Colonel'.
