Midlands: Birmingham
The 麻豆社's biggest comedy talent search heads to Birmingham, where five comics will compete in the second of six knock-out heats to bag their place in the grand final.
Birmingham鈥檚 Hockley Social Club has been transformed into our very own comedy club. Taking to the stage are Eli Hart, Farhan Solo, Chloe Reynolds, Will BF and Monica Hsueh in a bid to impress our judges and book their place in the final.
Award-winning comedian and writer Sarah Keyworth is here to keep the house in order. The judges are comedian, writer and podcaster Aurie Styla and local Brum stand-up Lindsey Santoro. Head judge Fatiha El-Ghorri completes the trio.
It鈥檚 not going to be easy for them to pick a winner from the five new comics performing. With only five minutes on stage each, the sets are jam-packed with jokes and cutting-edge material, but only one can go through to the grand final in November at City of Culture 25 Bradford鈥檚 Alhambra Theatre.
