Karen has not only left the family in emotional turmoil but also serious debt. There鈥檚 no way Dave can keep up with the mortgage on his single wage, and he faces the very real threat of having to move in with Chi.

Out of answers, the family seek advice from grief counsellor Ruth, who advises them to think outside the box and be entrepreneurial. Chi鈥檚 not entirely sure what this means, but she needs money.

Dave reveals he has a very rich estranged sister, Claudia, whom he hasn鈥檛 spoken to since Brexit. It鈥檚 risky reaching out to her - she鈥檚 a bit of a snob - but if he plays his cards right, he thinks she may well clear his debts.
