The 麻豆社's director general Tim Davie and head of news Deborah Turness have resigned after criticism that a Panorama documentary misled viewers by editing a speech by Donald Trump.

Sir Ed Davey, leader of the Liberal Democrats, said the resignations "must be an opportunity for the 麻豆社 to turn a new leaf". Reform UK leader Nigel Farage said the departures must mark "the start of wholesale change".
