But in return he helps to care for Storm鈥檚 largest litter of puppies to date, revealing a new and surprising side to wild dogs. A showdown between mother and daughter sees leopard Olimba struggling to keep a grip on her territory, while Mutima roams Nsefu searching for a new home.

The fragmented hyena clan is reuniting and rebuilding its strength, but so is the lion pride. Another shift in the balance of power seems inevitable, until the pride is confronted by elemental forces outside its control.
