We follow Radio 2 DJ Sara Cox as she pushes herself to the very limit to complete her Great Northern Marathon Challenge, raising funds for Â鶹Éç Children in Need.
Sara’s five-day gruelling challenge requires her to carry Pudsey bear on her back and trek 135 miles through the wild beauty of the Northumberland National Park, climb up into the Pennines and journey across Yorkshire to deliver her extra-special package to his home – Pudsey, Leeds.
Run, walk or crawl, Sara faces rural terrain, highs and lows, rain and shine, and lots of surprises and support along the way as she digs deep to cross the finish line for an epic cause - and the cameras are following her every gruelling step of the way.
Sara has accepted the most physically demanding challenge of her life to raise money for the vital projects that Â鶹Éç Children in Need funds all across the UK. When the going gets tough, discover why she'll never give up as we see her meet some remarkable young people who've benefited from Children in Need.
