Remembering John Lennon

Bob returns with a taste of the musical marvel that was the 1970s, plus his 'Best of the Test' focuses on John Lennon with an excerpt from from Bob's famous 1975 interview.

The 9th of December marks 45 years since John Lennon was killed outside his New York apartment building.

Bob celebrates the life and music of the musical icon, for whom the 1970's marked a new era of solo albums, performances and for the latter part of the decade, a retreat to domestic life to care for his newborn son Sean who was born in 1975. For the 'Best of the Test' Bob looks back on his now legendary meeting with John for The Old Grey Whistle Test in April of that year.
