It鈥檚 the penultimate leg of the race and the longest so far. The teams must travel from the islands of Bocas del Toro on northern Panama鈥檚 Caribbean coast to Medell铆n, Colombia鈥檚 second-largest city. Standing in their way is the notorious and dangerous Dari茅n Gap. Their only option is to bypass it by sea, enduring a lengthy, arduous and costly boat journey, putting their dwindling budgets under pressure.

On reaching the final country of the race, each pair is confronted with another challenge to overcome: a heightened security risk on the route to Medell铆n. Who will reach the checkpoint first to secure pole position going into the final leg?
