Alistair Appleton faces his toughest assignment to date as he attempts to find broadcasting icon and one of TV’s most opinionated panellists, Janet Street-Porter, a Suffolk sanctuary – away from the many daily irritations she’d happily banish from existence. Despite Janet’s refreshingly short and sweet wish list, it proves to be a tricky challenge satisfying this exacting house hunter. However, Alistair has an ace up his sleeve, which sees the property search take an epic detour to a remote Hebridean island.
