Alfred Brendel plays Beethoven's 3rd Piano Concerto

Alfred Brendel plays Beethoven鈥檚 Piano Concerto No.3 in an archive recording with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, plus pianist Jaedan Isik-Dzurko with a masterpiece by Bach.

Mark Forrest continues his week of specially recorded music and performances from Europe and beyond. Today we hear another superb archive recording of Alfred Brendel performing Beethoven - this week's historic cycle of Beethoven concertos reaches Piano Concerto No.3 with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. And there鈥檚 more piano music from two of the prize winners from the 2024 Leeds International Piano Competition too: the Canadian Jaedan Isik-Dzurko, and Khanh Nhi Luong from Vietnam, both performing in concerts recorded last month at London鈥檚 Wigmore Hall.
