'I stood there making pigeon noises.'

Sean recalls the lengths he went to get his brother鈥檚 pigeons in the shed.

鈥淵ou mentioned the tin bath hanging on the yard wall yesterday.鈥� says The Citizen.

鈥淚 did indeed,鈥� Sean says.

鈥淲ell in Belfast in the 70's lots of punters kept pigeons. Was that the same in the Maiden City?鈥�

鈥淢y brother kept pigeons,鈥� Sean says. 鈥淚 was never that fond. Lovely to look at but I didn鈥檛 like their calling cards. He would give me a little pile of corn to lure them into the shed. So I would stand in our back yard shaking it up and down, making a noise like this鈥︹�� Sean imitates a pigeon. 鈥淭he things you do鈥︹��
